Binish Syed

Meet Binish Syed, a Physical Therapist from India, with a passion for unraveling the mysteries of the brain. Ever since childhood, Binish has been captivated by how our brain connects and communicates with every part of our body—how we see, smell, taste, touch, and move. This fascination has fueled a dream to dive deep into neuroscience, with plans to earn a Ph.D. and explore the brain’s role in conditions like Stroke, Autism, Parkinson’s, and various neurological conditions. She completed her Bachelors in Physiotherapy, showcasing her strong academic foundation. Additionally, she completed her online course on The Brain at HarvardX, furthering her expertise. When not delving into brain science, Binish is on a mission to improve patient care through innovative rehabilitation techniques. A highlight of her journey was presenting a poster on "Effect of Treadmill Training on Autism" at the International Physiotherapy Conference in Mumbai, January 2023. With an unyielding curiosity and a drive to make a difference, she is set to present her poster at the Asia Pacific Stroke Conference in Adelaide, Australia, September 2024. Binish is dedicated to advancing our understanding of the brain and transforming patient lives, one discovery at a time. "After all, what difference does a drop in the ocean make? Everything!" she says.
