Amy Brodtmann

Brodtmann is a stroke and cognitive neurologist, internationally recognised expert in cognitive disorders, and director of cognitive neurology services at Eastern and Melbourne Health. Her achievements include: >160 papers in high-quality journals; continuous NHMRC funding since her PhD; youngest CIA awarded a Dementia Research Team Grant 2015; twice awarded the Heart Foundation’s most prestigious Future Leader Fellowship. She sits on multiple boards, including editorial board Neurology, International Journal Stroke; AAN Scientific Program Committee, and Dementia Australia Research Foundation board/committee. She is leading advocate for dementia patient care via her Dementia Australia Medical Advisor role: the first woman appointed.
