Shiva Raj Mishra
Shiva Raj Mishra, PhD is a Research Fellow in Cardiovascular Health and Data Science at the Faculty of Medicine Public Health, University of Sydney. He is interested in the nexus of cardiovascular epidemiology, and implementation science in low-income settings with a methodological interest in leveraging ‘big data’ for the evaluation of complex interventions in public health and previously worked as a Research Fellow in Intervention Modelling at the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, University of Melbourne. Dr Mishra has several years of valuable experience in implementing multi-stakeholder projects in hypertension management in Nepal. During these years, Dr Mishra has contributed to several internationally recognized platforms to support advocacy and policy responses to tackle chronic diseases including the World Heart Federation Emerging Leaders Program (2017-2021) and the Lancet Youth Commission on Essential Medicine Policies (2015-2017).
